Community Partnerships

The Saint Paul Police Foundation partners with individuals, corporations, non-profits and the community at large to support our men and women in the Saint Paul Police Department. This foundation is focused on supporting the Saint Paul Police Department through projects that create community partnerships, expand the use of technology in deterring and solving crime and to improve the readiness of our police department through education that is focused on the safety of our citizens.

Some of our partnerships in the community are with Neighborhood House, The City of Saint Paul, Saint Paul Parks & Recreation, Ecolab, Treasure Island, Travelers, The Katherine B. Anderson Fund and many more.

We seek to align donors with the SPPD and leverage the relationships across the city of Saint Paul. Through Saint Paul Initiative, Police Athletic League, Explorers, Shop with Cops and the Saint Paul Police Department Gang Unit.

The Saint Paul Police Foundation has funded security cameras in Saint Paul, special computer equipment and cell phone forensics. Building Security equipment projects are looked at each year.

Training and Education

Officer training and advanced certifications are essential to the work of the police. Recently, The Saint Paul Police Foundation worked with the Gang Unit and sponsored an IOMGIA 39th Annual Training Conference International Conference in St. Paul.
